T for Turtle

Updated: Jun 25, 2021

Learning letter T today! These are the cutest little turtles! My kids love any project with glue they can do by their self! We used paper bowls and cut out squares of light and dark green construction paper for the turtles shell as well as 4 turtle feet and a head! We glued the feet on the bottom of the paper bowl as well as the head with googly eyes! The boys enjoyed glueing the construction pieces to make the shell. They turned out perfect! This is great for little ones too and we talked about the sound T makes, other animals and things that start with T! While the glue dries I get Eric to write his capital and lower case T five times each and I'll encourage Liam to trace them! We also have a story time to correlate the letter, sound and words.
