Voila! Spider Halloween Sensory Bin!
With Halloween days away, I decided to make our lesson about spiders with a halloween theme and this sensory bin came out perfect!
Everything I used was off rip but anything orange and black was fitting!
I meant to use the rice for a our sensory letter tracing bin but it wasn't working for me. Since I was so last minute, I couldn’t order black food color and the stores didn’t have any so i was using blue red and yellow or green and red, makes black but I needed more! Like a lot more!
So I put it in the spider sensory bin!
I used
🕷our almost black rice
🕷orange and black dollar store spiders
🕷orange and black pipe cleaners (wrapped them around my finger for a cool spiral, it actually turned out amazing!)
🕷orange and black pompoms
🕷orange pumpkin carving spoons
🕷fishnet as webs
🕷our Halloween target spooky tree decor
🕷left over paper towel rolls for little spider shoots!
🕷magnifying glass from our bugs sensory bin
The kids loved putting the spiders and Pom poms down the shoots and actually pulling the net up to see how much they could get! We talked about different kinds of bugs getting caught in the web and where the spiders live!
It went perfectly with our Spider Halloween Lesson!
