We learned so much from our field trip to the Plimouth Plantations! It was really eye opening to see the conditions they lived in and what the pilgrims endured. Eric looked full grown in these houses! He also noticed the different lifestyle they had and asked what the kids play with? I was happy he recognized the difference of life then and how desolate it was compared to now. Sometimes I wish we could simplify our lives and go back to basics. Our homeschool field trip was perfect timing for learning about Thanksgiving! We also visited the Mayflower replica and Plymouth Rock!
