We are starting December strong with
Christmas activities and events! My boys love a holiday especially Christmas and their Christmas game and excitement is just as big as mine! Our house is decorated, we've crafted, met Santa, had Christmas events and it's only been a couple days of December!
Santa came to visit our house on the very First day of December!
Our town has Santa drive down all the streets for the kids! They come through with loud Christmas music, sirens, candy canes! It's the cutest thing! We painted Santa and reindeer masks, drank hot chocolate, dressed up in reindeer antlers with a Rudolph nose, and ended the night with The Chronicles of Christmas movie!
The next night we went to our friends house for a Friendsmas dinner! They have hosted every year now for a few years! We all met when our kids were just born in a baby group (so almost 7 years now) and have stayed so closed!
We have had lots and lots of hot coco and cookies to get into the Christmas spirit while we decorate the house, hang the stockings and arts and craft activities!
Eric's school puts on an event called a hullabaloo which assists the elementary schoolers to go shopping for Christmas gifts for their friends and family without anyone knowing what they got! They get a little list, a budget, and the volunteers wrap them and they can give them to loved ones for Christmas! It was absolutely the cutest and Eric even said thanks mom for taking me!
The Four Hearts Fondation is a local nonprofit raising funds to rebuild our town playground and they do such a great job bringing the community together with fundraising events and this Christmas event was perfect! The boys talked with Santa, wrote letters to Santa, made reindeer food, and Dane loved the festive ball pit! Kelsea Godek Photography took these fabulous Santa pics!
We have Christmas printable coloring sheets that the boys have loved coloring as well as our Christmas activity packets! We even have December wall calendar! I love seeing the boys so Christmas themed and excited!
We also got this little cute Christmas gift early from my mom! It's the cutest kitten! The boys named him Flash! Liam is obessed with animals and Flash is just the perfect fit for our family! Liam and I went to The Potter League Animal Shelter to go scope out some fur babies and this guy is the perfect addiction! He's been so great acclimating to the boys and new environment! We are so lucky to have him!
Oh and to top it off! We ended our weekend with taking our Christmas card family photos with my beautiful friend Danielle Gaudreau Photography! She is such a gifted photographer and she gave us a little sneak peak! Im so excited to see how these turned out! I think these might be the family photos we display above the couch!
We have so much to be grateful for and have been enjoying every minute of it! The next couple weeks with the boys will be so fun and fullfilling! I want to soak up every minute! Merry Christmas!đđ
